Considering LASIK? We're Here to Help Before and After

LASIK has helped millions achieve clearer vision without glasses or contacts. It's quick, nearly painless, and most patients see 20/20 within 24 hours.

The procedure corrects nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism—even reducing the need for reading glasses in some cases.

Are You a Good Candidate?

Ideal candidates are 21+, have healthy eyes, and adequate corneal thickness (since LASIK reshapes the cornea by removing tissue). Chronic dry eye or certain corneal conditions may disqualify you, so a comprehensive exam is essential.

We provide pre-operative LASIK consultations right here at our office to determine if you're a candidate.

What to Expect

LASIK is an outpatient procedure taking about 15 minutes for both eyes. The surgeon creates a thin corneal flap, uses a laser to reshape your eye, then repositions the flap. You'll walk out within an hour—though you can't drive yourself home.

You'll use medicated drops for about a week and should rest your eyes the first day. Most people return to normal activities the next day.

Important Considerations

LASIK is elective surgery. While it typically reduces dependence on glasses significantly, results aren't always perfect. In rare cases, vision may be less clear than with glasses beforehand. Weigh your needs carefully and discuss realistic expectations during your consultation.
