  • Who Can Apply?

     This scholarship is open to all Long Island middle school students planning to attend a summer camp in 2026. Whether it's sports, arts, STEM, outdoor adventure, or any enrichment program — we want to hear your story!  

  • What We're Looking For

     A 300 to 500-word essay describing how your chosen summer camp provides a fresh perspective on how you view the world, your goals, and/or your activities and education.  


  • The Prize

     Three winners will receive a $250 check to be applied toward the summer camp of their choice, with proof of 2026 summer enrollment. Winners announced by April 30, 2026.

Essay Prompt

Write a 300 to 500-word essay answering the following question:

"How does the summer camp you plan on attending provide a fresh perspective on how you view the world, your goals, and/or your activities and education?"

Tell us what makes this camp special to you, what you hope to learn or experience, and how it will help you grow as a person.

Eligibility

  • Must be a current Long Island middle school student (grades 6-8).
  • Planning to attend a summer camp in 2026.
  • Essay must be 300 to 500 words (strict word count).
  • Winner must provide proof of 2026 summer camp enrollment to receive the scholarship check.
